Executive Summary:

Dancing Elephant Productions is a cooperative of theatrical professionals,  established in 2015. The mission of Dancing Elephant Productions is to provide tangible theatrical  experiences to the entire spectrum of our community, advocate for funding for the theatrical arts, and support the development efforts of other organizations.   Through our initiative we will create paying work for theatrical artists and synergy within our theatrical communities.  We believe that arts involvement stimulates hearts, minds, and bodies.  People need creative and collaborative outlets to express thoughts, address emotions, and consider life from alternate perspectives.  Arts participation encourages compassion and consideration between neighbors and strangers alike which builds stronger communities. 

In service of this mission we designed a spectrum of programs and programming.    Our greatest strength is an  amazing pool of talented professionals with a unique combination of passion, vision,  a depth of professional experience, and a commitment and a connectedness to other local arts organizations. This group is prepared to present an innovative idea with an expandable format to fill a critically important need for the 260,500 residents in Monongalia, Marion, Harrison, and Preston counties, the 1.8 million residents of West Virginia,  and, ultimately, the 328.2 million people nationwide.
